Joshua v Parker

Posted on 01/02/2018

The biggest name in British boxing, Anthony Joshua currently the unified IBF, IBO & WBA world heavyweight champion with a 100% perfect record, 20 wins 20 KO’s, revisits the ring on Saturday 31st March 2018 at Principality Stadium, to defend his world title against his opposition, New Zealander competitor Joseph Parker in what is sure to be a colossal, blockbuster fight of epic proportions.

Joshua holds the International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association belts with 20 opponents, so far all of which were KO’s, he has not yet been defeated.

Parker possesses the World Boxing Organisation crown with a total of 24-0 fights, 18 being KO’s, he is the perfect contender for Joshua to ensure an extremely passionate fight.

“It’s a very dangerous fight for both fighters, but I just feel AJ’s punching power and speed is underrated and I’m not sure whether Parker has the artillery to do enough damage if there is a gunfight”. Promoter, Eddie Hearn said.

“Joseph Parker is the most relaxed fighter I have ever worked with as far as controlling his emotions,” “I’d back him against any heavyweight in the world, and we are looking forward to backing him against Anthony Joshua.” Kevin Barry, Parker’s trainer said.
