The 37th Ryder Cup MatchesThe magnificent Valhalla golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1986. The course is located approximately 20 miles east of Louisville. It has already played host to two majors, the PGA Championships of 1986 and 2000. International PavilionWe strongly recommend that you 'upgrade' your admission ticket to include access to the International Pavilion. The pavilion is a large exclusive dining marquee inside the course, providing the opportunity to purchase food and beverages, with TV monitors showing live action. It is also a welcome sanctuary in the event of inclement weather. Your Free Invitation to the Celebration EveningYou are cordially invited to attend the Celebration Evening during your stay. The themed evening will include sumptuous buffet style dining as well as a complimentary bar and entertainment. Further details will be available closer to the event. AccommodationAs you would expect, hotel accommodation is at a premium in the Kentucky & Indiana area for the Ryder Cup. The hotels that are available are mainly 3 Star, although a few 4 Star hotels are still available a little further from the course. Please click on the Valhalla Logo below to see hotels and prices. Flight SuggestionsWe would advise flying to Louisville or Lexington. You will need to fly via a US main hub and get a connection to these destinations. Please click on the Valhalla logo below to see the airlines we recommend. |
