The oldest of all the golf majors, the open championship is widely recognised along with the Masters as the biggest golf competition in the world.  The 139th Open Championship takes place at the St Andrews Resort for 2010.  Possibly the UK’s most famous course, St Andrews will play host to the worlds finest golfers, all looking to claim the claret jug from surprise 2009 winner Stewart Cink.
